Day 17 - Pumpkin Ale (Stevens Point) - 12 miles

Sun and above freezing temps was a welcome change. I ran a total of twelve miles with some one minute pick ups. It all felt rather slow. For the daily beverage I went with a change up, Pumpkin Ale (7.5%) by Stevens Point Brewery (WI). No doubt pumpkin is a highly distinctive flavor but it works well in a beer, thus the widespread influx of spiced pumpkin ales every fall. I found the flavor of this particular brew to be well balanced. It's certainly not overbearing and two of these should provide a nice little buzz.
