Day 20 - Liquid Gold (Captain Lawrence) - 11 miles

Tuesday night at Franklin Field and there were plenty of workout groups to choose from. I opted for a sampling: 3200 m (10:44), 400m rest jog, 3 x 1000 m (3:11, 3:07, 3:06 on 90 sec rest). After a hard workout I needed something smooth and easy and Liquid Gold (6.5%) by Lawrence Brewing Company (Elmsford, NY) fit the bill. At just 15 IBU it was a soft, sweet Belgian with a strong undertone of what tasted like lavender to me, although the brewer's profile does not list it as such so it was most likely the orange and other spices.
