The Sunday long run was twenty four degrees with a stiff wind that seemed to change direction to meet me head on at every turn. Apparently the move south hadn't gotten me away from the shit and the snow. I only ran six miles of the run with the group but the pace was just as brisk as the weather. I was glad to turn off when I did. The day's total was sixteen cuss filled miles. After a large meal I brewed my second ever batch of beer and then tried some Singel (6.2%) by Hardywood Brewery (Richmond, VA). This Belgian Blond was a beauty, smooth flavor and highly drinkable. From snow drift to sand dune I dare say this 'classy beer' is versatile!
