63 - Ruthless (Sierra Nevada) - 14.5M

Time to lace up my shoes like a big boy. Forty degrees and rain, time to earn this shit. The forecast says Thursday will bring the real wrath of winter. Better not chance it I thought. Time to bank some pavement! I ran the full museum loop for fourteen and one half miles. It always amazes me, at eight miles I was completely floundering. As planned Justin met me on the West Philly side of the path with Ian. The pace dropped significantly and I felt all the better for it. For the first time I reached for a brewery that is a staple on any bar tap, Sierra Nevada (Chico, CA). Like most, I have only drank their pale ale so I relished the opportunity to try their Ruthless Rye IPA (6.6%). "Now this is a fucking IPA!" Yeah, I half yelled that to an empty room.
