47 - Velvet Merlin (Firestone) - 10M

It was a coveted day off holiday but a Monday is still a Monday. With the thermometer stuck in the teens I went into Center City to grab some groceries only to learn the grocery store was closed due to a broken water pipe. So I hit up a couple bottle shops to restock the fridge. Thankfully the run was a little less eventful, another eight loops in the cemetery for ten total miles. I went with Velvet Merlin (5.5%), an oatmeal stout by Firestone Walker Brewing Company (Paso Robles, CA). Not really sure about the name but it was a nice smooth beverage with some warmth to it.
